Joe Scheirman: Keyboard, Guitar, Vocals
Armed with an uncanny ability to play keyboards while hanging a guitar around his neck, Joe embodies the spirit and flexibility of the one man bands of long ago. Couple that with his vocal renditions of your favorite Allman Brothers or Grand Funk tunes and you'll see why he manipulates any genre of 70's funk, rock and blues. The only artist you will ever see with the unmatched stage presence and ability to trip over his own wireless guitar cord. Doubling as the bands sound engineer, Joe ensures that when you show up for an HSB concert your ears will be peeled back and your brain exposed to the raw, natural, screaming, mach 4 g-force that only HSB can produce. Joe's cry baby slide guitar and hot rock lead riffs will leave you dripping with an ooze of sensuality and wonderment.
Jim Heggen: Bass, Vocals
If there was one word to describe Jim's ability it would be simply put....virtuoso. No other bass player in the metropolitan area captures the persona and vitality of the electric bass than Jim Heggen. His impeccible timing and back fills of any song HSB ventures into solidifies that unique sound that has become so popular and familiar within HSB's close circle of fans. From bluegrass and rockabilly to blues to hard HSB rock, there is no limit to this man's talent. Studying under the tutilege of Ronald LaPread, former bass player for the disco band The Commodores, Jim learned the importance of an underlying deep heavy sound that combined with a funky twist made even the bluesiest ballad danceable by todays standards. He continues to provide his "round mound of sound" for all HSB fans to boogie down to.

Dave Hancock: Vocals, Rhythm Guitar
Born on a mountain top in Tennessee, greenest state in the land of the free. Raised in the woods til he knew every tree. Killed him a bear when he was only three. Then Dave set out to make rock and roll history. His mama bought him his first guitar at age 11, of which he never learned to play. Then one day finally deciding he would join a rock and roll band along with Jim, Joe, Todd and Robert make up what is now known throughout the world wide web as High Speed Boom. His uncanny ability to fake his way through chord progressions and mumble forgotten lyrics only solidifies his unique style and come as you are attitude to the HSB stage. Until the rest of the band finds out his inability to play guitar, harmonica or sing, he'll continue on as the greatest rock legend that never was.

Dave Newberry: Lead Guitar, Vocals
Being Born in Midwest City Oklahoma under the approach path for Tinker Air Force Base in the late 50's could only mean one thing. A young child whose brain was often rattled by the frequent sound of "High Speed (supersonic) Booms". (Google Oklahoma City Sonic Boom test for more info!) This put Dave on a path of constantly trying to recreate this sonic happenings musically. His mother set him right away to beating the family piano into submission. This wasn't enough. He beat many other instruments during his High School and College days. He experimented in everything from Afro-pop to Zouk-Chire', but as fate would have it, the loud Sonics of the electric guitar were his dream come true. And after years of wandering in the wilderness, he came across a band called "HIGH SPEED BOOM". How he reenacts those days of staring up at the F-104's as they brought forth their sonic wrath on an unsuspecting city. Mu ha ha!!

Mike Ragland: Drums, Vocals
Born in New Orleans, Mike’s first influences were the Crescent City’s music and food. In fact, he claims that Dr. John is his father and to this day, he breaks into a cold sweat when he sees crab cakes or a picture of Drew Brees.
Luckily, he was relocated to the Red Dirt Promised Land when he spent his formative years in Guthrie, where he learned to rock & roll – performing in a club at 15 (he looked old for his age) and playing on his first record at 16. In his quest to create a reputation Dr. John would be proud of (and remove the Restraining Order), he has attempted Country, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Gospel, and Contemporary Christian music (he drew the line at Bluegrass). Never mastering any of these genres, he has returned to do what he does best – hit hard while playing the drum solo from “Wipeout” on orchestra bells…with his eyes closed. You gotta see it.
